About me
As a passionate advocate for human health and longevity, I thrive at the intersection of medicine, technology, and innovation. Currently serving as a C-suite Executive and Chief Medical & Innovation Officer at Nuritas, where I am responsible for the discovery of new peptides, the development through clinical trials of a new class of food peptide ingredients changing the lives of billions in a true paradigm shift in preventative healthcare.
With over 25 years of clinical experience, I have consistently delivered results as Director of Sports Surgery Clinic Sports Medicine. There, I spearheaded the growth of a global sports medicine clinic from serving 5,000 to over 40,000 patients annually achieving significant year on year growth and ARR in Europe's largest Sports Medicine practice before its sale to UPMC. My success was built on a foundation of strategic partnership building and the use of big data and machine learning to develop pioneering biomechanics and research with elite and everyday sports medicine services improving clinical outcomes.
As an experienced Consultant Physician in Sports and Exercise Medicine, registered in the United Kingdom, I’ve had the privilege of working with international sports teams, including Great Britain Hockey, GB Rowing, and England Rugby. My commitment to the field extends beyond clinical practice—I host the Humaneering podcast, where I explore the intersections of health, med tech, emerging technologies, and longevity.
My passion for knowledge-sharing is also reflected in my academic contributions, with over 60 peer-reviewed papers and three textbooks authored to date.
Throughout my career, I have served on multiple boards, bringing my expertise in corporate and clinical governance to the forefront. I am passionate about executive coaching, leadership and stragetic change and am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals, explore new opportunities, and contribute to the future of medicine and health technology.
